How DataStackSignals handles reader information

If you subscribe to the DataStackSignals newsletter, an email address would be used to send the weekly briefing and related editorial updates.

Newsletter processing is not currently connected to a production provider. The demonstration form does not send or store an email address. When a provider is enabled, this page will be updated with its name, purpose and retention details.

A production contact form may collect your name, email address, reason for contact, message and submission time so the editorial desk can review and respond.

Where DataStackSignals processes contact messages, the lawful basis is legitimate interest in reviewing and responding to reader enquiries. Where DataStackSignals sends newsletter emails, the lawful basis is consent.

DataStackSignals stores a light or dark display preference in your browser when you use the theme control. This preference stays on your device.

DataStackSignals does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or behavioural advertising tools.

DataStackSignals does not sell reader information.

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information you have submitted. You may also object to certain uses of your information or ask for processing to be restricted where applicable.

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
