Sources and attribution
Articles link to the specific source used for factual claims. Vendor statements are attributed; practical recommendations are our interpretation. The source-check date does not imply independent testing.

What makes a useful correction
Identify the article, the statement in question and a reliable source explaining the issue.
- Include the article address and relevant wording.
- Explain whether the issue is factual, contextual or a later change.
- Provide a direct supporting source where possible.

Use the contact page to send supporting details to the editorial desk.

Changes to the record
Material changes to an article’s claims or recommendations are recorded with a dated correction note. Minor spelling and formatting changes may be made without a note. Earlier sample material awaiting verification is withheld from the reading collection.
